Comment: From East Siberia comes a new type of sphene. This one here is the greenest of the parcel (and thus more expensive) with an aggressive lime hue almost overpowering the yellow. Though they're the most durable of the few ultra-high-dispersion gems that beat diamonds, sphene (or titanite) DO need careful setting in a protective design. Once set (let a specialist - like us - do it) sphene holds up as good as any of the gem varieties that deserve care. They are best shown for special occasions, not used in our daily struggles. We have sold and set sphenes for over an decade with not one complaint (despite the fact that our customers can request re-polish or replacements of a damaged gem). This 0.97 shows hardly any inclusions, even under the lens. IGI report, free shipping, grading papers, plus a 1000sqm of WLT rainforest protection in your name are included. Our service and quality ensure an educational adventure into the world of precious gems, color and fire; a memorable experience - not yet another stressful internet purchase. We offer fun with fine gems, no regrets.
