Comment: Nope, this is not a Chrysoberyl's cat's eye, but a newly discovered type of silimanite cat's eye from Madagascar, so far found in earthy green, opaque brown or honey colors, but here, for the first time, with almost 100% transparent bodies and free of inclusions, plus a strong shiny silver ray (which is impossible NOT to catch on photo, as we try to show the body color). Normal quality cat's eyes need a single light source to show their ray in all beauty, lower quality rays will react only to a torch, but the very best will show their ray in almost any light setting, like this one here. I tried but could not make an image WITHOUT ray even in lowest light. Luckily, we won't need a see-through image here, since its clarity is beyond doubt and no body-color needs defining. A chipped corner become visible only under the lens (but not on our 36hold images) and does not affect the ray. Almost round at first sight, it will fill a ladies ring with 6mm. If you have a gent's ring in mind, ask us for a bigger piece, though most are small, we'll be ready to hunt the biggest there is.
