Comment: Imagine a nugget of gold in perfectly hammered round shape, make it big enough to keep a prospector of former times busy for a week at the salon, but give it no more weight than a few aspirin. Such is this gold pearl from Palawan in the Philippines. The deepest and best hue in these beauties is called '24K' which would be pure gold, not commonly used for jewelry and thus rarely seen except amongst gold miners or in bars or bullions as investment.
