Comment: Here is one of those gems for which I drop whatever I do, and end up shooting too many images. But, see this marvel: 25 carat precision cut sphalerite, a gem with more dispersion, a.k.a. fire, than diamond, plus an equal refractive index, the density of sapphire and the dispersion of titanite. All this topped of by an, in this size almost impossible, 'free of inclusion' plus an as-rich-as-imaginable wild color-play of yellow, orange, and red. Set in a protective pendant, which we'll do for you, this master-piece beats any gem alive in head-snatching, eye-popping and silly-mouth-opening. What is such a gem's market value? With nothing comparable seen in this trader's life-time, and only one specimen in our stock, pretty well near priceless. Yet, a number it must have. Like our finest titanite, equal in sparkling, $750/ct seems fair call. If you entrust the setting to us, we hedge the risk with our goldsmith. Meanwhile, enjoy under 'more images', its perfect cutting, the internally flawless crystal (an impossible rarity in sphalerite), the color zoning in bands and waves, Medium Dark 80 in the tips with Medium 60 in the center, and an endless procession of other stunning details.
