Comment: Full sized gem, over two carat, in the lively orange only spessartite can produce. Excpet beryllium-treated sapphire, I cannot think of any gem with this intense type of orange (imperial topaz is different). Very little yellow, a tint of red but the rest is 80% pure orange. To a certain exctent, inclusions in Nigerian spessartite are a desired feature for the sleepy glow they produce without dimming the body-color. Perfectly done hand-cut in classic shape and good dimensions, the 78% depth providing full color strength without loosing weight in an unessecary belly. Hence we have over 8x6mm in only two+ carats but no window. IGI report, free shipping, and good deeds for you and the world are included in our prices. The handshots from this month's new arrivals have all gotten too much yellow from a relentlessly scorching sun and their hue suffers against the skin-color, so ignore the lack of contrast.
