Comment: Last, or second to last, from a parcel of raven black spinels that we had custom-cut in this round brilliant shape. The energy radiating from these gems is unique (only black diamond could compare). Durable, free of color (remember 'black' is not a color but the absent of color; as white is no color but the combination of all colors) has its own place in the gem-world. With a perfect brilliant cut and a fine polish, the surface provides a unique brilliancy, beautiful in its own right. As always, we wish we had bought more. 11mm round from six carats will fill a heavy gent's ring or invite an individual designed pendant, for example add color with a halo of emeralds and you will have a truly precious asset for your estate.
