Comment: Deep pure green tsavorite, flickering into the outer edges of the long stretched oval under strong light, getting close to Medium Dark 80 (but not quite yet). Perfect gem if you like them mysteriously green but nowhere blackish, which many consider the ideal shade in tsavorite, though I, personally, like the wild sparklers like the trillion 0.80 better. The handshot captures the uniquely rich tone very well. No inclusions even under the lens. IGI certified, no window and untreated, 3*NOS tsavorite from the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Finest green available in the garnet world, highly valued for the combination of intense color and fine liquid crystal (with clarities almost unthinkable in competing emerald and colors equal at the very least). All tsavorites over one carat are considered 'big', even half carats can put up quite a show. This big-faced-gem, without window, will, thanks to its shape, easily fill a gent's ring.
