Comment: From the magic rarified corners of gemology: Glittering orange drops of sun (-stone). Their copper content produces what is dryly called 'aventurescence', or better, a German word, 'schiller'. Durable for pendants and earrings, with protection also in rings (but then perhaps in other shapes). Also in a pair, or in bigger pieces via hunts. New material from Oregon, USA. 10x7mm with less than 2 carats to pay for. Rich golden orange translucent bodies with perfectly flat backsides (equally attractive, see 'more images'). With so many exciting new varieties found all over the world, it is no wonder that collecting gemstones is a lifelong quest, always has been, but now not only for the privileged 0.1% but for everybody and anywhere, thanks to this, our internet.
