Comment: In this 1.32 drop-shape we got to discover our first inclusions: A dark spot just under the surface. As in colored gems, the GRADING rule is: 'lightly included' means 'not visible without lens' or so called 'eye-clean'. Further the drop is not 100% symmetric, a flaw that would best be hidden in a bezel setting; the best choice in any case: the more protective the better for any opal setting. See the neon blue-green tip of the pear, almost a bright teal? It becomes strongest when seen from the top (in the pendant position), then covering almost 50% of the gem. Seen from a lower angle, on the other hand, the body is neon yellow-orange with rainbow flames. The green-blue hue is exclusively visible in the top-view. Magic! All color-play is in vivid neon hues, see 'long handshot' with the body gleaming in equally intense orange, hence a 'fire-opal' . Remark: side and back-images are presented in handshot because it is easier and has no negative side-effects in such vivid colors. Full sized pendant gem with only 1.32 carats!
