Comment: Significantly darker tone (meaning a deeper color) than its brothers and sisters. Beryl comes in many colors and names, these green-yellow ones are called heliodor, blue beryls are aquamarine and pure green are emeralds etc.. Names aside, they all share the same durability, brilliancy, crystal etc. but NOT prices. Hence the lesser known family members, such as this heliodor, are much cheaper and offer a value alternative to the fashionable names without compromises in quality or aesthetics. Cleaner than clean (even under the lens), well cut, flawless crystal, lively spring color, big face without window. Could be set in a white gold or platinum ring or pendant (I feel yellow would not match well).
