Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Between emerald or green beryl and aquamarine, blue with a strong secondary green. IMO closer to aquamarine from which it gets the gleaming crystal. The cut and resulting luster gives the impression of a lively scissor or princess which we know from square or rectangular shapes but is here fitted in an oval. This color is often called sea-foam, a bright combination of green and blue. A thin veil (left on main image) produces a sheen in the otherwise clean crystal. Long-shaped oval (12mm) will need a larger ringsize above 7, but also invites a pendant. A good gem for those who like a lot of green in their aquamarines and have no use for the aquamarine-brand premium. In the handshot the gem looks somewhat cloudy but that is the skin hue caught in the veil and would not appear in jewelry. Other images show color as in person.
