Comment: Shining melange of bright neon green with a dash of aqua-blue; but clearly on the green side. These pretty Beryls come from the mines that gained fame with their Sandawana emeralds (also Beryls), which many consider to be the 'best-ever-emeralds'. Free of inclusions except a tiny fracture and a needle in the outer girdle, so insignificant that only our rigorous grading would mention it. Images don't get all beauty across but this is a remarkable quality in a beryl-priced gem. Delivering what even most expensive emeralds cannot: lively luster. With 85% a deep gem, which invites a high-up dome setting, perhaps in a full size gent's ring. DSEF certified. Untreated, no window, exquisite bright and clear crystal. See side-image for the mix of blue and green. In the hand-shot please subtract the skin-colour but note the exceptional luminous crystal (more chromium or vanadium and you would be looking at one of the cleanest emeralds ever found). Unique, full sized, all-natural but still affordable. Old stock from a South African collector who bought these as side-catch for a collection of fine Sandawana emeralds (coming on this channel soon). Well-crafted brilliant cushion cut.
