Comment: Our four and last euclase's looks is closest to that of a good sapphire or cobalt spinel but, as mention before, they have their own quality of blue: Under 'more images' you'll find at an euclase-crystal and a close-up in which the upper part has that bright metallic-greenish blue the camera misses. With only 0.84 carat this gem gives 7x5mm of intense color, no window, no eye-visible inclusions. Please read more about euclase as variety, and as extra-rare faceted gems, here: 1.56 and also here: 0.30. Between these two extreme this 0.84 makes a natural middle point: As big and shaped as a 'normal' ring-center-stone, with great visibility thanks to hue and brilliancy; it is not as outrageously big, perfect and rare as 1.56 but will not raise the specter of being misery with only 0.30 carat if it is for a third party. As most euclase this gem has true color zoning though visible mostly from the side. There are some inclusions under the lens, a solid hand-cut with no window (all flawless cut euclase will get an 'excellent' in our grading because it is a miracle feat). Better than images, which make it look more wild and fuzzy than it is, yet, be sure: it is NOT your everyday blue gem. As always, even the rarest gems, come with lab report, good deeds, grading papers and free shipping. The handshot below captured the otherwordly deep blue rather well.
