Comment: This 2nd euclase is strongly color-zoned, as is 'normal' in euclase, seen in its crystals and the few faceted gems that are known. Depending on the angle, the eye and the camera catches more or less of the blue zones, at minimum a quarter of the gem, at maximum the gem seems almost a fully bright blue. The crystal of euclase is airy and sparkly, especially in the colorless spaces, leaving a bright lively overall impression. Sometimes the color zones are clear-cut in view, at times the gem seems throughout sky-blue. Please read the comments of 1.56 since a 'new' gem-variety has too many topics to captured in one gem's comment, or can be repeated every time. Durable for jewelry (now that it is cut), unique and pretty, this gem offers a complete different experience for the gem collector or the adventurous jewelry maker, perhaps a combination of topaz and blue sapphire. At $2k/carat not more expensive than sapphire but exceedingly rarer, though unheated sapphire is not exactly a common gem.
